BackAt Middle Barton School we follow:
‘A child centred and coordinated approach to safeguarding.’ DFE 2018.
The Governing Body of Middle Barton Primary School takes its responsibility under section 11 of the Children Act and duties under “working together” to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, very seriously. We work together with other agencies to ensure adequate arrangements exist within our setting to identify, and support those children who are suffering harm or are likely to suffer harm.
Safeguarding Children – what to do if you think a child is at risk of abuse or neglect:
Immediate danger – if you think a child is in immediate danger, call the police on 999.
Immediate concern – if you have a concern about a child, please call MASH on 0345 050 7666.
